The WAYS Wellness Centre brings together psychologists, therapists, and case managers who work with young people facing challenges including mental health, housing, family breakdown, school disengagement, legal issues, and more.
You don’t need to know which type of support is right before you reach out. When you contact us, our team talks with you, understands what’s going on, and connects you with the right person.
If you’re outside our usual area, contact us and we’ll help connect you with the right support nearby.
No referral needed
No Medicare card. No mental health care plan. No cost. All services are free, funded by DCJ, NSW Health, and the Chapell Foundation.
Call us, email us, or fill in the contact form. You can refer yourself, or someone else can reach out on your behalf.
We’ll send you a brief intake form to help us understand what’s going on and make sure we connect you with the right support.
Based on what you share, we connect you with the team member best placed to help — a psychologist, therapist, or case manager.
Life can feel overwhelming sometimes — and you don’t have to figure it all out on your own.
Our counsellors and psychologists work with young people (and their families) on whatever’s going on for you. That might be anxiety, stress, low mood, relationships, identity, grief, or something you’re not quite sure how to put into words yet. That’s okay too.
Sessions are free, confidential, and happen at a pace that feels right for you. We’ll never push you to talk about anything you’re not ready for.
Sometimes the stuff going on in your life needs more than a conversation — it needs someone in your corner helping you sort things out.
Our case managers work alongside you on the practical side of life: things like finding stable housing, navigating Centrelink, getting back into education or work, connecting with legal support, or just having someone to help you figure out next steps.
We meet you where you’re at — no judgement, no pressure. Whether you need short-term help with one thing or longer support across a few areas, we’ll work it out together.
