What it covers

Trauma and the nervous system

How stress and trauma show up in behaviour, and what a regulated adult does to help a child settle.

Behaviour as communication

Read what a child is telling you underneath the behaviour, instead of only managing the surface.

Positive Behaviour Support principles

Practical, person-centred strategies your team can use the same day — proactive, not punitive.

Reflective practice

Build the habit of stepping back as a team so responses stay consistent across the room.

Who it's for

Early childhood and OOSH educators, room leaders and support staff who want practical, trauma-aware strategies for the children in front of them — especially services supporting diverse or vulnerable families.
