Case Manager

We are looking for a Case Manager who is passionate about working in organisation that provides quality outcomes to young people and their families in the community. 

We are an established not-for-profit community organisation whose mission is to work with young people aged 8 – 24. We provide a range of services to young people and their families, through education, training, case management, counselling, outreach and more. 

About the Role

  • Assist young people aged 12-24 years and/or their families, who may be experiencing substance misuse, homelessness, mental health concerns or barriers to education to have access to a range of supports and services in relation to health, housing, employment and education. 
  • Support young people to develop stronger links to family and community.
  • Contribute to community engagement, music events/programs, psychoeducation / therapeutic workshops, school forums, outreach and service promotion activities. 
  • Responsible for developing, executing and managing an effective and targeted outreach program designed to increase the number of young people accessing case management and other WAYS programs.

About You 

  • Demonstrated experience in providing case management services for disadvantaged young people aged 12-24 and their families addressing a range of mental health, education, homelessness and drug and alcohol issues. 
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology  or equivalent.
  • An enthusiastic attitude to connect, engage and support young people 
  • An understanding of case management methodology, models and systems.
  • You have a NSW Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) 
  • Ability to work independently, manage time and multiple demands.

WAYS Secondary is at Bondi Beach from 9:30am - 3:15pm during school terms.

WAYS Youth Training provides vocational training (Certificate II, III, IV & Diplomas) every day from 09:00am - 3:30pm at Bondi Junction.

WAYS OOSH (After school care) is open every day from 3:00pm - 6:30pm during school terms.

WAYS OOSH (vacation care) is open every day from 08:00am - 6:00pm during school holidays.
