Eligibility Requirements

Before enrolling, check that you meet the entry requirements below. These help ensure you are ready for the program and can complete all components including your practical placement.

To be eligible you must be:

  • At least 17 years old
  • No longer attending secondary school
  • Living or working in NSW
  • An Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder, or New Zealand citizen

You will also need to obtain a Working With Children Check before commencing your placement component. WAYS will guide you through this process as part of your enrolment.
